Auto log in to external websites

Question

Hi All,

I have a external website url and also have the username and password

what i need is i want to do is open a new window and it should automatically log in to external website when i click a button from my website..

Can you please anyone provide me some sample code for this requirement.

No, even we don't know the webites.. We have the below three parameters only 1. Web site URL - XXX 2.Username - YYY 3.Password - ZZZ So using the above details only we want to automatically log in to external web sites.

Yeah you can also do with javascript. Tell me one thing have you permission to login on that website?

Hi Ravi, Thanks for your quick reply!!.. i have a question about that... Can i achieve this auto log in through the asp.net c# code?? Can you please provide some sample code for this if you have... I thought this can achieve through the java script but i don't think it is possible for all kind of web sites .... Regards, Ranjithkumar.

Hi ranjith, You can do above task with the help of web scrapping. First of all you call a url where you want to login. then get a html copy of this url after that find the id of textboxes of userid and password. then you have to set values in this textboxes . Now you have to fire login button just get id of login button fire its click event programatically. you can use fiddler (from telerik) to read out the html copy. mark it as answer if it helped you.
