Auto increment the number after clicking submit button in c#.net calling store procedure

Hi, Can you explain me how to auto increment the value like C00001,C00002 and go on.. using c#.net with asp.net webapplication and connection with sql server thank you, regards, karthika

one way is Keep an Identity column in ur table , and just before inserting new record find max value,add 1 to it and append "C0000" Thats is Your Response is important to use. Please Check This is Currect Answer, if it helped
