ASP Calendar Control

Question

I need help here with the asp calendar control, I want to restrict the selection of Holidays, Weekends, Monday, and Friday so I have coded for the restriction of weekends and other months with the help of built-in events I want to now restrict holidays I have a method containing a list of holidays and a bool Method to check if the day is a holiday or not

I hope I'm not being too much of a problem it's just that I am creating this project as practical learning in asp.net, I'm creating a Task Tracker Web App for Employees to select their work from home dates on the calendar by clicking and can select as many as up to 5 days then the dates are stored in the Database so now I want to enable the onClick event in the Gridview on my HomePage with the Users displayed so that when I click on any user his/her Work from Home dates are being displayed in the ListBox on the other side, also, display labels on the calendar I need help with the click event on the Gridview I have tried the OnCommand event for the grid view to get the selected index but also I want to use the EmpID as my point to the WorkFromHome Table in SQL Server
