Angular version with .Net Mvc 5?

Hi everyone! I have got an assignment to implement CRUD and some other functionalities. Stack is .Net MVC 5, Web API and Angular Js of my choice (between 2,4 or 5). I am very new to angular js and open to learn any version. Which version should I learn and implement? Will Visual Studio 2013 be enough? Or should I use Visual Studio 2015 or 2017? My previous projects were in 2013 so have been using that.
