add text to anywhere in MS word document

Hi,

I created app to send form data to Word. Its working properly. But now I want send that data anywhere in the document. For example begining, end and center. Here Im not talking about align text. Acctually I want send those data to certain palces. Please Help me

That is correct - you would have to place bookmarks in the Word document before you send text to it. If you are starting from an empty Word document, i.e. no bookmarks, then I would still recommend recording a macro to "get positions" from within the Word document - then you will be able to write some code using the VBA as a guide.

Thanx for your answer. There first we must mark where the places that we want send data in word doc using bookmark ? or without any prior marks can we do it only using code ?

A good way of achieving this is to add bookmarks to your Word document then GoTo the book mark prior to inserting the text. If you add a bookmark (Insert --> Bookmark) to your document, then record a Word macro and navigate to the bookmark via the Insert --> Bookmark menu, select the bookmark then click on the Goto button, you will end up with some code like this: Selection.GoTo What:=wdGoToBookmark, Name:="BM_1" It is possible to perform reasonably powerful operations using this approach - dynamic tables, etc. become a reality.
