Access USB Port thru WebPage

I would like to access the USB port of the client who downloads a particular page from my WebSite and thru that same page, capture events at the port. The events, captured as data in the fields of the Page would then be transfered to SQLServer. Can I expect some comments on the feasibility (possibility) of the above and advices (ideas) if YES. All suggestions are most valuable.
