Microsoft Teams has become a point for collaboration. And with the pandemic, Teams is even more important. Starting from SharePoint, documents sharing, uploading images to other Microsoft apps, meetings, discussions come under one umbrella; i.e. teams. Businesses switch over from the traditional method of point of contact to teams. In this blog, we will discuss how we can send out a conversation that happened in teams to the recipient's email address.
Now you must be wondering about the benefit of sending the teams conversation to emails. For example, I work as an IT procurement specialist & my job is to procure IT Assets every day from an external vendor. I will be the point of contact for external vendors. Every day my job is to chat with Vendors on teams & finalize price rates, quantity, etc. for IT assets that I will procure for the company. Before procuring the assets my manager has to approve the process. Now my manager wants to have a look at the conversation which I had with the vendor. This is the case where outlook comes into the picture.
Let’s understand how we can send our conversation to outlook email,
Step 1
Open your Microsoft teams. Go to the chat window. Open the chat you want to send as email in outlook.
