Pages vs Dialogs for SharePoint Document Library and Lists

In SharePoint 2010, when you open a new list item in a document library or a list , it opens in dialog box default. But in SharePoint 2013 have the option of choosing either Forms or Dialogs.

Forms is enabled by Default.
