Service Models
Infrastructure as a service
- Provides whole infrastructure of a computer as a service.
- In this, we get complete access to the computer OS.
- This eliminates the need for every organization to maintain the IT infrastructure.
Platform as a Service
- This provides the development and deployment tools required to develop applications.
- We need not have access to whole OS.
Software as a Service
- This is a way of delivering applications/software over the Internet as a service.
- Instead of installing and maintaining software, you can simply access it via the Internet. This frees you from complex software and hardware management.
Deployments Models
Public Cloud
- This provides a shared platform that is accessible to the general public through an Internet connection.
- If we have a valid billing agreement with CSP(Cloud Service Provider), then we can use their services.

Private Cloud
- In this, the infrastructure is dedicated to a single organization.
- This is also known as an internal cloud or corporate cloud.
