Binary Numbers were used before Computers

Computers and programming languages are developed based on binary numbers (0s and 1s). Today, I was writing about binary classes in C# and did some research on binary numbers. Interestingly enough, according to Wikipedia, the binary numbers were used by an Indian scholar named Pingala around 5^th-2^nd centuries B.C.
