How To Install And Configure Windows 11

In this article, I am going to explain how to download, install and configure windows 11.

Download official ISO for Windows 11.

Follow the below-mentioned steps,

Step 1

Choose Windows 11 Disk Image (for ISO file),

Step 2

Choose Language,

Step 3

Choose system type 64-bit,

After downloading Windows 11 ISO file make a bootable pendrive using below process: -

Download any bootable maker application to make pendrive bootable here I am using rufus application.

Steps to make pendrive bootable

• Insert pendrive in your PC with minimum 8GB capacity.
• Make sure to backup all the pendrive data. Then open rufus and select pendrive then choose iso image of windows 11 and click on start.

After clicking on the start button a pop-up warning will appear to erase all the data of pendrive. Click ok then bootable process will start, wait for it to complete.

We have successfully created windows 11 Bootable pendrive.

Now you can use this pendrive to install windows 11 by using following steps

Step 1

Insert windows 11 bootable pendrive and Restart your PC.

Step 2

Press F2, F10, F12 or Esc to enter into Boot Menu. (Note:- This step is different for every PC)

Step 3

Select windows 11 pendrive from bootmenu then click ok.

Step 4

Then select the following and click on next button,

• language to install
• Time and currency format
• Keyboard or input method

Step 5

Click on install now button.

Step 6

If you don’t have product key then click on “I don’t have a product key” button as shown in below snapshot.

Step 7

Select which version on windows you want to install and then click on next button. (Here I am installing Windows 11 pro x64)

Step 8

Accept Microsoft License Terms then click on Next button.

Step 9

Select Custom install to continue.

Step 10

You will see your hard disk lists.

Step 11

Now we have to create C partition from this disk to install windows. Click on New button to start partitioning now give partition size in MB then click on apply to make partition. (Here I am making 100 GB for C Partition to install windows and the rest of the space is used to store files.)

Step 12

Now similarly create another partition from the remaining free space.

Step 13

Select 100 GB C-Drive partition to install windows 11 then click on Next button.

Step 14

Now the installer will start copying windows 11 files once the installation is finished remove your pendrive and restart your computer by clicking on Restart now button.

Step 15

Now you need to configure your windows 11.

Choose your country or region and then click on yes button.

Choose keyboard layout and click on yes button.

Choose to set up purpose and click on Next button. (Here I am selecting for personal use)

By default windows 11 will ask you to sign in by using Microsoft account but I will also explain you how to make an offline local account. Click on sign in options

Choose offline account.

Now click on limited experience to continue.

Enter your name then click on Next button.

Enter strong password then click on Next button.

Choose your privacy settings for maximum privacy then click on next button.

Now windows 11 is setting up, wait for some time.

 Now Windows 11 running well on your PC
