How To Create A Tool Shortcut In Dynamics 365 CE XrmToolBox?

XrmToolBox is a widely used Tool in Dynamics 365 CRM and it has many Tools, which help us in our day-to-day activities in Dynamics.

In this XrmToolBox, if you are using any Tool quite frequently, then you can create a shortcut of that Tool and place it on the Desktop.

In this article, I am going to explain about creation of a Tool Shortcut in XrmToolBox.

Follow the below steps for the same.

Step 1

Open XrmToolBox and Go to Tools.

Step 2

Right click on the required Tool and Click on Create shortcut (Tool).

Step 3

You can see the message as “Shortcut FetchXML Builder has been created in the Desktop“.

Click on OK.

Step 4

FetchXML Builder shortcut has been created on the Desktop and Double click on it to open FetchXML Builder.

Step 5

Click on Yes to connect to the Dynamics 365/ Dataverse Organization.

Step 6

Choose the required Dataverse organization and Click on Connect.

Step 7

Tool will be opened with the required Connection.
